"Pros: Beehouse Hotel in Ubud was exactly what I needed—a peaceful retreat with stunning rice field views, a calm atmosphere, and amazing service. The pool was beautiful, the massages were incredible, and the food at the café was top-notch (special shoutout to the chef—the beef burger and pastas were fantastic!).
The team went above and beyond to make my stay perfect. Everyone was so friendly and thoughtful, especially Delia, Evi, Yunia (I think?), the lovely spa lady, the handsome guy at reception, and the café staff (one even gave me a wake-up call!). A huge thank you for taking such great care of me, especially when I was feeling burnt out.
Also, a special mention for their kindness—my sister was fasting, and they brought her breakfast at 4 AM every day. That level of care really stood out.
If you’re looking for a quiet, beautiful place to relax in Ubud with top-notch hospitality, this is it. I’ll definitely be back!"

"Pros: Putu, the owner, was highly accommodating towards our wishes and did so without delay. The spacious-roomed guesthouse is located within short walking distance to the laundry shop, good eating places and beautiful rice paddy views (in front of the guesthouse and the path that goes on behind the laundry shop.) Watch for the amazing sunset, and flocks of herons returning to their nesting grounds between 5:45 to 6pm. Lastly, WiFi was exceptionally good.
Cons: Things could be a bit cleaner and in the neighbourhood dogs were barking at night. However, the owner had spoken to the owner of the dogs, who consequently apologised for the noise."

"Pros: I liked the uniqueness of the wooden house, this is not a resort, you have to be self-managing and capable. It has stairs and a deep pool as well, probably only suitable for adults and children, who can swim and, who are supervised. I repeat it is not a resort, it is a basic home and I liked it, insects and all. We had mosquito nets around the bed and aircon in the bedroom. It was close to our family who did stay in a resort, close to the Laundry place too (really reasonable) right next door.
I am grateful that there was water there for us, and the filter, used this no problems, really happy that both rooms had their own ensuite.
For me not only was the price great for us two ladies travelling, but we could manage quite well, we ate out, we had breakfasts in, we went out and did tours, we stayed in, we went out and had massages, hair, whatever we wanted, it was an incredibly quiet sanctuary for us after the busy travel days doing stuff.
Cons: There are always things that could be done better. I would say better cleaning checks of cupboards, toasters, stoves, pots, and fridges to maintain a high standard are key.
Linen on the beds must be immaculately clean no spots at all."
