"Pros: Authentic homestay experience in a little paradise. True to its homestay nature, bullt by the owners themselves who manage the facility, it is basic but spectacular at the same time. The location is right next to a nice beach few steps from a nice housereef and a couple of minutes (at low tide) from an even more amazing beach (not to be missed, ask Arnes for how to reach it), while behind is the tropical forest (a kuskus is a regular night guest). The bungalow is comfortable (the sound of waves can be noisy for light sleepers, but it wasn't the case for us) although the bed is a bit small, the place is nicely decorated with shells and plants. Bathroom facilities are basic but kept clean. Meals (lunch and dinner in particular) were great (Arnes is a fisherman so we had super fresh and delicious fish). The owners don't speak much English (which was not an issue for us as we speak indonesian), but their daughter who is reachable on WhatsApp does. Arnes can provide also snorkeling tours around with is boat.
For us it was a great stay, of course knowing its pros and cons." ~Rik42
