Moate Lodge is a 4-star 18th century country house B&B located in Athy, County Kildare. The house offers guests the warmth and hospitality of an old-world house full of charm and character. Antiques, books and family portraits are tastefully combined with modern comforts to ensure a relaxing atmosphere. Spacious individually designed guest bedrooms feature all modern comforts with private bathrooms. Guests can unwind in the peaceful garden or the drawing room which features a log fire and complementary home baked scones and strawberry jam. Farmstay Experience Moate Lodge is 250 year old Georgian farmhouse on a working tillage and beef farm. it's a working farm, so expect to catch glimpses of the cows and hens; guests are encouraged to collect eggs from the hens.
