Offering modern cuisine, The Liberty Tree Restaurant is on the 4th-floor and has stunning countryside views. We are SO thrilled to announce our Corries Bar & Bistro will be closing on Monday 19th February for a complete refurbishment! But don’t worry, we will be serving our usual Lunch & Evening Menus in our Liberty Tree Restaurant from 12.00 pm to 9.15 pm daily! We will have Live Music on Friday & Saturday nights, and Guests can still avail of our Full Beverage Offering in our Liberty Tree Restaurant and our Main Lobby, while Hotel Residents will have access to our Exclusive Residents Lounge – The Rossmore Suite. We aim to showcase Carlow’s Newest Bar & Bistro in Spring 2024 but keep a close eye on our Social Media for exclusive sneak peeks and updates! Inspirit Health and Leisure Club boasts a fully equipped and gym, sauna, steam room, jacuzzi plus a 20 metre swimming pool with a Kiddies Corner. Indigo Hair and Beauty Salon offers a wide range of hair and beauty treatments as well as soothing massages provided by trained professionals. The Talbot is located next door to The Dome Family Entertainment Centre which plays host to a 12 lane bowling alley and games arcade plus a large indoor soft play area featuring crawl tubes, slides ball pits and more to keep children entertained. The Talbot was voted in the top 10 ‘Family Friendly Hotels in Ireland 2011’. Free parking is available at the hotel.

Guests are required to show a photo identification and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply. Guests under the age of 18 can only check in with a parent or official guardian. A damage deposit of EUR 150 is required on arrival. This will be collected by credit card. You should be reimbursed on check-out. Your deposit will be refunded in full via credit card, subject to an inspection of the property. Maximum 2 children per room are allowed based on two adults sharing. When booking 4 rooms or more, different policies and additional supplements will apply. A card will be required on check in for payment. If the card will not be present at check in then please contact the hotel to arrange payment in advance. Credit cards will be charged 48 hours prior to arrival and bookings made less than 48 hours prior to arrival will be charged upon booking. Should the card decline, The hotel reserves the right to cancel of the booking.
