"Pros: We ended up not staying in the original apartment, as we had been notified by the owner the morning of travel that there had been a gas leak which couldn't be fixed. They did however offer us a different apartment in a different complex (The Hiberian in the Gasworks) which was great. Someone came and met us with the keys and were very patient as our flight was delayed so we were at least three hours later getting to the venue than originally planned. Cons: Originally there were supposed to be three of us, but unfortunately one of my friend's couldn't make it due to personal circumstances. It all happened at the last minute, so I didn't get chance to inform the hosts. The second apartment we were given, would technically have accommodated all three of us, but one of us would have been sleeping on a sofa for two nights or had to share a bed, which were small doubles. It didn't really matter in the grand scheme of things, but we could have perhaps had a bit more communication with the host prior to our arrival to double check everything." ~Liz
