"Pros: The apartment was small but spotless. Fair play to James and Lucy. It must have been a bar or some type of shop at one stage but now it is a lovely cosy bedsit type apartment. Very quaint. Wonderful location. Loads to see and do in that area. Shannon estuary right at the doorstep
Was surprised that the village doesn't have a shop but the local pub,although reasonably expensive serves some of the best fish and seafood dishes I have tasted anywhere. 2 places worth visiting are loop head and kilkee. Wonderful cliff walks and spectacular views in both locations .also helped that the weather was cold but sunny and dry.
Cannot fault Lucy and James and the way they have put loads of love and care into renovating an old building and keeping a wonderful piece of history and enabling others to experience it. Will defo return and have no qualms in recommending it to others that might want to visit that part of clare County.

"Pros: Beautiful setting.
Mary was so kind and helpful and recommended places to see and eat.
My daughter and I loved the pool table in the evening and it was so comfortable and quiet that getting to sleep was really easy.
Cons: It would have been nice to have a toilet lid as an extra place to put clothes when we were in the shower"
