"Pros: Location is handy for visiting the town of Buncrana and activities further afield.
The whole bungalow was clean and the welcome pack was very useful.
The lack of a modern combi boiler and instant hot water was a bit of a pain. We resorted to boiling the kettle to wash the plates etc as it was easier than having to endure a 2hr wait with the heating on.
We appreciated that Barry (owner) was able to answer any queries we had, with a prompt response.
All said and done, the bungalow is well presented and very warm. We all enjoyed our stay at Drummer Cottage and would hope to return at some point.
Cons: Having to fiddle about with the water/heating.
No full length mirror.
Only one key for the front door and no key to the back door which is a yale lock.
We locked ourselves out at one point...luckily someone was still in the bungalow to open the door for us.
All minor issues which I'm sure can be solved over time.
We are very well experienced in staying in holiday cottages. They all have their quirks."
