Desert Routes Inn Shvilim ba Midbar is located in the Moshav Hatzeva in the heart of the Arava Desert, a 40-minute drive from the Dead Sea. Decorated in oriental style, the property offers accommodation with outdoor areas and colourful rugs. Free WiFi is available throughout the property. Private rooms are air-conditioned and feature a private outdoor seating area. Each also comprises a private bathroom with a shower and a kitchenette with a fridge and tea/coffee maker. Guests staying in dormitory rooms have a shared bathroom at their disposal. The Shvilim ba Midbar's chill-out areas invite guests to relax. A common fully equipped kitchen is available. Various desert trips can be arranged on site. During the summer a public swimming pool of the Hatzeva Moshav is opened and is located just a 7-minute walk away. Upon request the staff can organise a pick-up service for guests arriving by bus from Jerusalem, Tel Aviv, Haifa or Eilat.

Based on local tax laws, guests with a tourist visa to Israel are exempted from paying VAT for their reservation. Israeli citizens and residents ("non tourists" as defined in the VAT law) must pay VAT. This tax is automatically calculated in the total cost of the reservation for domestic customers. For guests booking from outside of Israel, the tax is not included in the total price. Please note that dinners and breakfast need to be ordered in advance.
