"Pros: The flat was difficult to find but neighbors were very helpful in guiding us to the flat. Overall it was a wonderful neighborhood. We had been traveling for over two weeks when we arrived. Getting, what felt like, a real slice of Italian life versus cities and tourist traps, was great! The proprietor of the nearby minimart, La Provencia, was wonderful, as was her little store.
For the most part the flat was cute and comfortable with a washing machine and all cooking appliances except an oven and dishwasher, neither of which was necessary.
Cons: Instructions to get to the flat were not good. Had it not been for the neighbors, I'm not sure we ever would have found it. In an effort to help future renters, as you come up the hill toward the flat, you'll see the La Provencia minimart on the right. Two cobblestone alleyways after the store, and they come up quickly, is via Teuzza. The flat is the first gate on the right of the alleyway. You can't park there as the alley is far too narrow for a car, but there's a sizable parking area once you round the corner and then make a left.
Also, if you're expecting a view of the lake, there's only the tiniest of peaks of the lake from the flat. Tress have grown to obscure the view of the lake but you can still see mountains surrounding the lake.
The toilet seat needed to be better secured and the shower needs some form of bathmat within the shower as the floor is quite slippery. These are easy fixes.
Not something under the owner's control but be advised, if you're going to the ferry, while it is only 10 minutes away, trying to find a parking spot in Bellagio and figure out how to pay for it (hit the button that looks like two flags to read the directions in different languages) then walk back to the ferry takes a Long Time! It took us over an hour. We ended up missing a boat ride in Varenna for which we had already paid despite having started out an hour and 50 minutes before the boat was scheduled to leave. The ferry rides take 15-20 minutes and runs a few times an hour."

"Pros: The property is very clean and equipped with everything you need. It is a 10-minute drive to the ferry. Quiet and beautiful area. We had a very pleasant stay. Although it was cold weather, we had the opportunity to start the central heating. I recommend 100%!
Cons: The radiator in the bedroom doesn’t work. Or we didn't know how to turn it on. But it wasn't a major problem. The rest of the radiators work very well."
