"Pros: Beautiful Pool. The view from the balcony is breathtaking Klodge staff is usually very responsive. 2 parking spaces are available which is convenient. Also, the presence of 3 bathrooms is useful. Cons: We did not appreciate how complex it is to manage the stay. First, having to pay for linen is awkward. First time I see this when renting a place. Secondly, though I understand electricity is expensive in Sardinia, but our electricity bill was an outraging 74.5 euros for 4 nights! We didn’t do any special usage besides the hot water and the lights… Plus the bill was sent to us a week after we left ! We must trust blindly that no electricity was used after we left… Thirdly, the gate located at the entrance to leave by car is downhill, therefore, when we checked out, we had to do another round trip uphill by foot to leave the keys… The trash system is very inconvenient. We were in a bit of rush to leave the house for the 10 am checkout to avoid the late checkout fee. So we were horrified to see in the guide booklet that any overfilled trash would amount to 20 euros of fine. So we collected the extra trash which we didn’t know how to dispose of… To speak about the house, it is strangely designed, with a very small living room, and a minuscule kitchen to cook. Not convenient if it rains or if you need to cook for more than 2 persons. To summarize: it was stressful due to the fear of being fined for extras, and overly complicated experience, for what is suppose to be a pleasant stay. I simply cannot recommend the klodge services.
