"Pros: A really lovely spacious apartment in a great location. Plenty of room for two couples and we loved the large garden. Well-equipped, spotlessly clean and comfortable. Castiglioncello is a lovely little town with plenty of nice places to eat (we would recommend Caffe Ginori and La Stazione). There is a large Co-op supermarket which is open every day til 8pm (even Sundays). The apartment is just a couple of minutes from the sea front where you can walk and sunbathe and there are beautiful parks to walk through as well.
Cons: The underground car park is very difficult to get in and out of in a reasonable sized car (we had a qashqai). We only drove in once and it was very stressful as we were scared we were going to damage the hire car. However there is plenty of on-street parking nearby and we left the car there for the rest of our stay. Wifi was intermittent. The kitchen knives are not very sharp."
