"Pros: A modern hostel space with its own onsen bath! Only a short walk from Beppu Station and close to many cute restaurants and cafés. The dormitory bunks were quite spacious and the mattresses were super comfortable as well.
Cons: The bathroom was a bit cramped, with only 1 stall for the whole women's dorm. Also, the only shower space available was the open shower in the onsen, which is fine for travellers already accustomed to onsen culture, but may be something to keep in mind for those not as comfortable with public bathing."

"Pros: We had very clean and spacious rooms with a beautiful ocean view. We chose to have dinner and breakfast included and it did not disappoint! Both meals were delicious, beautifully presented and very filling. The hotel is only a 10 minute walk from the train station and there is a small shopping mall with a Muji store less than a 5 minute walk away.
Cons: The indoor onsen area was a little disappointing as it was small. It had a view of the ocean through a large window. Luckily we were the only ones using it whenever we were there. The outdoor onsen is by reservation only and was practically booked by the time we checked into the hotel. Some members of our party used it and enjoyed the view."
