"Pros: Room above a coffee shop next to the train station, which made it very convenient to reach the pagoda. Lovely views of Mount Fuji from multiple locations in the town as well, and a variety of restaurants. Note many of them get busy so reservations are helpful. As noted in other reviews, it is not technically a private toilet, but pretty close - it is shared between the coffee house staff and the guest room during business hours (10-5). Coffee house customers have a different toilet available during those hours. The room itself is a traditional 16-tatami room with futons. Cons: I wish the coffee shop opened earlier! The menu looks excellent. Not only do they have the traditional Japanese comfort food of curry rice, they also have the local speciality of udon that looks amazing." ~Andrew
