Accomodation

Located at the foot of Mount Fuji and surrounded by trees, Shikitei offers cottages with traditional architecture and a Japanese Irori hearth. Guests can enjoy an outdoor barbecue or arrange for outdoor activities. Fujisan Train Station is a 5-minute drive away. Guests can rent out an entire cottage, which features a kitchen, a private garden and a terrace. Rooms have Western beds or Japanese futon bedding, a flat-screen TV and an en suite bathroom. Some cottages come with a Hinonki cypress wooden bath. In-room massages and facials can be requested for an extra cost and bicycle rentals are available. Guests can experience horse riding, farming and craft-making at Fujisan Farm. Free parking is available on-site. Japanese hot-pots or barbecues are available for dinner and a Western set menu for breakfast. All meals are served at the dining room or the terrace of each guests’ cottage. Shikitei Inn is a 15-minute drive from Lake Kawaguchi and Lake Yamanaka. Fujikyu Highland is a 20-minute drive away.

To eat dinner and breakfast at the hotel, a reservation must be made at least 3 days in advance. The hotel may contact guests directly to request for an advance deposit. For a second and subsequent pets, for the first night, an extra charge of 3000 JPY (small-sized dogs), 3500 JPY (middle-sized dogs), 4000 JPY (large dogs) or 3000 JPY (other pets) per pet per night applies in cash. For a second and subsequent pets, for the second night onwards, an extra charge of 2000 JPY per pet per night applies in cash. In the case of multiple pets, the largest pet will be considered as a first pet.
