"Pros: The house was very big; lots of chairs and beds, would be perfect for a big family. There are 3 bedrooms upstairs, and 1 tatami room downstairs. They also have a projector and soundbar in the living room, which you can login to Netflix or watch YouTube on. Kitchen was stocked with cutlery, toaster and microwave, but you'll need to drive out a bit to find the nearest grocery or convenience store for food. Huge dining table.
Host was also very responsive on this site and sent very comprehensive information and instructions to check-in. Didn't realise I had to fill in a form to get the check-in code, but it was very fast when I did it on the spot, just make sure you have a photo of your passports.
Izu Shaboten Zoo was nearby and easy to get to via driving.
Cons: I don't think the tatami room is used very often, as there was a little bug that crawled out when we tried to set it up, but no big deal. The house is also located within the residential area, so the roads surrounding it were very small and hilly (understandably), and the carpark lot was pretty narrow. I wouldn't recommend trying to find the house when it's dark; it was quite difficult for us." ~Desiree
