"Pros: I loved staying at Ringoya. A lovely Guest House with very kind and welcoming hosts. The rooms are lovely Japanese rooms with tatami mats and futon mattresses, which I found very comfortable. The shared men's and women's toilets are close to the rooms and very clean. The shared kitchen and dining, lounge are is great too, allowing you the option to cook your own meals and catch up with others. There is a men's and women's public (shared) bath area. A lovely hot bath to relax in after the day. It is small, and while I was there I was the only one in it each time I used it, but could seem a little cosy if there were a few people using it at the same time. There is a private bathroom and shower too. The japanese breakfast and the evening resturant meal with their hand made soba is incredible. Absolutely loved staying there a day would definitely stay there next time e I'm in hakuba. Location is a 3 minute walk from the shuttle bus terminal in happo." ~Todd
