"Pros: Nice staff.
Has plenty of stuff (a/c and heater, de-humidifier, microwave, water boiler, etc)
Convenience store across the street.
Easy check out.
Easy path to Himeji station and Himeji castle.
Cons: Small room. If you have lots of luggage it may be a little tricky to stay organized.
Small room also means small bathroom. You might bump into stuff.
The staff wants you to keep the bathroom door closed when you shower because it might trip the smoke alarm. I respected that and didn't have any problems with it but I was constantly worried it would happen anyway.
Laundry on 2nd floor only. Might have to wait if everyone is using it all at once.
Thin walls. Along with being able to hear the neighbors, you can hear loud cars/motorcycles revving their engines down the street at night.
It's easy to get to Himeji station and Himeji castle, but it's still a bit of a walk to either of them. Taking a bus or taxi could circumvent that."

"Pros: We stayed at hotel Ciel for one night and it was a good experience. There is a private parking right under the hotel from where you will be accessing the building directly.
If you have a reservation you can just take the elevator to the first floor where you will find the reception. The room we stayed in was pretty spacious and comfortable with a big bathroom with hot tub and a tv! The bed was also comfortable and we had a great night sleep.
This is one of the so-called "Love Hotel" and we did not know what to expect but in reality it is pretty much just like a normal hotel that probably people also use just for a few hours.
All considered this was a good option and reasonably priced with very friendly staff so I can just recommend it completely!"
