"Pros: This is a beautiful old building that has been lovingly kept up. The staff was lovely and helpful, and the location is perfect- close to the train station (buses also leave from here) and walking distance to shops, restaurants, and Ise Jingu Geku. Breakfast was delicious, the futon was comfy, and there is a public bath if you want to try this ( I was nervous, but I’m glad I did). It was great to experience staying in a traditional ryokan. I would definitely stay here again. Cons: There was nothing I didn’t like, but people with issues getting up off the floor might have some difficulty, as the seating and futon are low." ~Teresa

"Pros: Cozy, warm, and it was like a tree house which has the first floor where people do their work or interactions and the second where people cook and sleep after going up the wooden spiral stairs.
