"Pros: Great location where neighborhood is quiet but restaurants, bars, shopping, ferries and bus stops all just a very short walk away. Friendly helpful staff and very clean hostel." ~Hugo

"Pros: Located very close to everything in downtown Ishigaki, including many restaurants, the port, and cafes and shops. It was so clean, as if we were the first people to stay there. The amenities were amazing, including all of the bath products. The pajamas were a comfortable and the tub was great. The outside porch is planted up nicely and a wonderful place to enjoy a meal. The tatami room was perfect for chilling out and doing yoga as well. Cons: I think there were too many chairs (five) downstairs, making it a bit crowded. The upstairs sleeping loft is relaxing and snug, but the angle when entering and exiting was a bit tight. There was furniture up there, but it didn’t feel comfortable to sit given the small space. These are very minor issues, but given the space in the tatami room, the bathroom, and the outdoors — there were still more than enough places to chill." ~Donald
