"Pros: A beautifully designed house with state of the art electronics! I was highly impressed with the microwave/oven, washer dryer. Sleeps 6 comfortably thought there is only one bathroom and a separate toilet. The house was kid friendly and both my kids loved sleeping on the futons on the split level above the movie room. The location was super convenient and there was parking directly at the property. Thank you to the very responsive staff who came at night to pass us more hangers as we had quite a bit of ski stuff to hang. Thank you for a lovely stay! Cons: The pillows were a bit flat and the heating took some time to warm up when it was colder at nights." ~Renita

"Pros: It's a beautiful place for relaxing. The beds are super comfortable. The staff are friendly and helpful. The room arrangement is lovely yet modern. The hot bath and breakfast are highly recommended. Cons: Convenient stores are not so convenient in Karuizawa. Couldn't get snacks and soft drinks at night when hungry. "Pros: The owner and staff were super friendly and let me check-in earlier because I was so exhausted from walking for a few hours. Their english was great but they were happy that I learned some Japanese 😁 The rooms were nice and the bed was very comfortable. Cons: It‘s a bit far from the main city if you are only there by foot but the owner is nice enough to take you to the station if she‘s also going there or has a bit of time on her hands." ~Leander
