"Pros: It‘s a spaceous one-story house with many beds, a small basic kitchen, a shower, toilet, tv etc. We especially enjoyed the coffee machine and the free variety of tea. The owner is very kind and friendly and offered to drive us to an onsen in the evening.
Cons: It was not very clean in general (dusty, stained sofa etc). There’s no bathroom sink, you have to use the kitchen sink to brush your teeth etc. We had a room key, but not one for the gate and one evening when we came back from dinner (around 8:30pm) the gate was locked and we couldn‘t get in - we had to call the owner many times before we could enter and were worried we wouldn‘t be able to enter at all."
