"Pros: Immensely helpful and attentive staff. The room was enormous for a reasonable price, and the amenties were both plentiful and well worth it. I enjoyed my stay, and would love to return some day in the future.
Cons: It is located high above the rest of Arima Onsen. With no public transport, you have to rely on taxis, or a very steep and long trek up and down. The hotel itself is rather old and it shows in some places."

"Pros: The cabin was completely beautiful. It gave off a homely atmosphere that made us all feel like we were at home. The owner was very informative of the area, gave us snacks and a bottle of wine. Honestly. The best short-term rental we have all ever used. I would come back in a heartbeat. It made our family trip all the more memorable. Also, it is in a very convenient location with a short walk to the hot spring facilities and the cute town.
