Also the underfloor heating of the wooden floors means it's the best location for cold weather touring. Plus the central courtyard of the hotel looks up at the Takeda Castle Ruins which are lit at night. Also the pre-dinner drinks buffet is a nice treat to sample the local sake and seasonal fruit liquors. Cons: Parking is a short walk away so plan your route to drop off the bags at the small hotel entrance if it is snowing or cold rain." ~Benildus
