"Pros: Immensely helpful and attentive staff. The room was enormous for a reasonable price, and the amenties were both plentiful and well worth it. I enjoyed my stay, and would love to return some day in the future.
Cons: It is located high above the rest of Arima Onsen. With no public transport, you have to rely on taxis, or a very steep and long trek up and down. The hotel itself is rather old and it shows in some places."

"Pros: I loved the staff. Everyone was so kind and welcoming! I am learning Japanese and everyone was more than willing to teach me what I didn't understand yet. I absolutely loved the food. If you are staying alone, then you probably won't need to order any additional side meals. You will be served plenty of food!
Cons: This is beyond the location's control, but I wish there was an easier way to Arima station from Osaka. I had to walk up the hill from the bus stop."

"Pros: The hotel comes with onsen and it was great. It has an outdoor and indoor pool, though the outdoor decoration is somewhat man-made. It was a truly relaxing experience.
Cons: I booked a dinner set meal at the last minute and it was accommodated. I did not manage to book the Kobe beef set and it was great, though a bit pricey."
