"Pros: The rooms were clean and the location was fantastic. Very close for my dad who can't walk far due to bad knees. Compared to ryokan nearby it was cheaper and good value if you don't need a super traditional type place. Cons: There was a smell of cigarettes from one of the rooms on the first floor. It is a little uncertain at arrival for things like where to park and entering the building pictured felt like intruding in someone's house. The check in is over the road so once that's worked out it's easier and comfortable. The TV in one of the two rooms we got was tiny and there were no chairs in the rooms to help my parents who are more elderly." ~Matthew
