Offering hot-spring baths and a hot tub with views of the Matsumoto landscape, onsen hotel OMOTO has free WiFI at the lobby. It is a 10-minute drive from Matsumoto Castle and has Japanese-style rooms with a private bathroom. Yukata robes and slippers are provided in each traditionally styled room, and guests sleep in Japanese futon bedding atop a tatami (woven-straw) floor. Each room is air-conditioned and comes with a flat-screen TV, a mini-fridge, an electric kettle with green tea and toothbrushes. The hotel is about a 15-minute taxi ride from JR Matsumoto Train Station. The Matsumoto City Museum of Art and the Kaichi School Museum are both about a 12-minute drive. On-site parking is free. An indoor hot-spring bath can be used privately for an extra charge, but must be reserved in advance. Bicycles can be rented, and there is a souvenir shop with unique local items. A free-use massage chair can be enjoyed after soaking in the shared hot-spring bath.

Guests with tattoos may not be permitted to use the property’s public bathing areas or other facilities where the tattoos might be visible to other guests. The private reservable hot-spring bath is available for use until 22:00. The shared hot-spring baths are closed from 09:30-15:00.
