"Pros: Destination hotel directed mostly to the local crowd from the Kansai area. Lots of activities available in a nice mountain setting. OK buffet breakfast. Japanese breakfast also available, but limited seating. Need to be booked in advance. One of the main attractions is the onsen which is located in a separate area couple of hundred meters from the hotel. Ticket to the onsen for a single entry for both occupants is provided with the booking. Cons: While the price per night is good if you are making use of the facilities, it is bit on the steep side for the level of the hotel, if you are just using it for overnighting on a road trip.
