Next-door to Minakami Fujiwara Ski Resort, Hotel Sunbird boasts 11 private-use hot spring baths, a tennis court and karaoke. It offers rental bicycles, massage treatments and free Wi-Fi at the lobby. A free shuttle is provided from Minakami Station. Guests at Hotel Sunbird can go rafting, canoeing or fishing in the area, or unwind in the public open-air hot spring bath. They can relax in the hot tub and enjoy the first 40 minutes in a private hot spring bath free of charge. Rental ski gear is available. Comfortable Japanese-style rooms offer nature views and a seating area with chairs and a coffee table. They feature a tatami (woven-straw) floor and traditional futon bedding, while amenities include an LCD TV, a fridge and yukata robes. Some rooms have an open-air hot spring bath, made of Cypress wood. Sunbird offers a breakfast buffet with hot and cold fare, while for dinner it serves seasonal Japanese dishes. Room service is available. The Sunbird Hotel is only a 3-minute drive from Minakami Golf resort, while JR Minakami Station is 30 minutes with its complimentary shuttle.

To use the property's free shuttle from Jomo Kogen Station or Minakami Station, please make a reservation at least 3 days prior to arrival. - From Jomo Kogen Station (Joetsu Shinkansen): 13:50 - From JR Minakami Station: 14:15 Guests with a tattoo may not be permitted to enter public bathing areas and other public facilities.
