Situated along a river in Kurokawa Hot Spring area, Fujiya offers traditional Japanese-style accommodation boasting natural hot spring baths. Guests staying at the adult-only property are welcomed with complimentary tea, and they are free to unwind in the cosy communal lounge. Free WiFi can be used in the public area. Featuring a relaxing ambience and a river view, all rooms are fitted with a flat-screen TV, a safety deposit box and an electric kettle. It comes with a private toilet, while bathroom is shared with other guests. While staying at the Fujiya Ryokan, guests can unwind in the public bathing area or refresh in the mist sauna. Luggage storage and drinks vending machines are provided on site for guests’ convenience. The property is a 90-minute drive from Kumamoto or Beppu city centres. Kumamoto Airport can be reached within an 80-minute drive. Japanese-style set menu is on offer for breakfast and dinner, both served at Michikusa dining room.

Guests must check in by 18:00 to eat dinner at this property. Guests who check in after this time may not be served dinner, and no refund will be given. Guests with tattoos may not be permitted to use the property’s public bathing areas or other facilities where the tattoos might be visible to other guests. Please inform Fujiya in advance of your expected arrival time. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation. Guests must check-in by 18:00. You may have your reservation cancelled if you try and check-in at a later time. Guests who book Japanese-Style rooms will not be able to choose which type of view is offered from the room. Please inform the guests' gender in advance as different toiletries are provided. Please note that guests are required to book dinner included plans in order to have dinner on site. Please also note that there is a limited number of places around the property where you can eat out. Guests arriving by car during the winter are urged to use snow tires or snow chains. Meal is prepared for the exact number of guests booked.
