Boasting spacious indoor and outdoor hot spring baths surrounded by lush greenery, Ryokan Wakaba provides Japanese-style accommodation in the peaceful mountain area. Free Wi-Fi is offered in the public area, and parking is available for free. Featuring a relaxing ambience, each room comes with a comfortable seating area with a low table and seating cushions. Some rooms are fitted with traditional futon bedding, while others have Western beds. A TV and a fridge are included. Guests at Wakaba Ryokan can experience rejuvenating stone sauna. The spacious indoor hot spring baths feature retro décor, and smaller baths can be reserved for private use. JR Kumamoto Station is about a 100-minute drive away, and Aso Shrine is a 40-minute drive from the property. Guests with a dinner-inclusive rate can savour Japanese-style full-course dinner with delicately prepared seasonal dishes. Alternatively, guests can choose to add half-course dinner to their breakfast-inclusive rate booking.

Guests must check in by 20:30 to eat dinner at this property. Guests who check in after this time may not be served dinner, and no refund will be given. Please inform Ryokan Wakaba in advance of your expected arrival time. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation. Dinner for the dinner-inclusive rate is a Japanese-style full-course meal with 12 dishes including roasted beef as the main dish. Guests who prefer to have horse sashimi instead of roasted beef must contact the property at least 1 day prior to the check-in date. Please note that if dinner is requested on the day of check-in, a half-course meal with 8 dishes will be served. Guests with food allergies and/or dietary restrictions must inform the property at the time of booking. Please note that the property may not be able to accommodate meal requests without advance notice. Guests with children must inform the property at time of booking. Please specify how many children will be staying and their respective ages in the special request box.
