"Pros: Ryokan is located just next to the temple in Nagano which is totally worth visit. It was a good place for us to stay and do trips to discover the region better. The staff is very sweet (though barely speak English.) we also enjoyed the onsen.
Cons: The location on the map provided is not fully correct and we accidently visit the neighbor before finding the right place. During the check-in we learned that Ryokan closes at 21:00 and after that time we can’t come in which was a bit problematic for us as we had dinner booked outside. Also the breakfast was a bit disappointing although we had amazing food experiences in Japan so maybe our expectations now are too high."
