"Pros: this is an airbnb with great wheelchair access and with lots of toys for kids. There are functional toilets which are rare for Japanese bnb in this price range. The place is in a quiet location. The host responded relatively quickly and offered to clean the room again (see reason below). Cons: I was having very high hope given of all the good reviews from other visitors but overall it was a very disappointing stay. Cleaniness was way below Japanese standard (i have stayed in over 30 bnbs in Japan and this is the worst). I would say the bnb is dirty (except the bedding is clean). There are hair and dust visible everywhere on the floor, clothes rack has a thin layer of dust on it and the dinning table feels sticky. Some of the furnitures are very worn (see photos) and could have been replaced with better furnitures even from 2nd hand shop. There are supposed to be 3 shower rooms but only 1 was open for use as the other 2 have a sticker stating not to be used. Unfortunately we ended up having to use the other shower room because the 1 that the bnb allowed us to use was (once again) dirty and disfunctional- hair still stuck on the shower head and the drainage literally didnt work. The shower room flooded after my 2nd family member took a shower (we only each spent 5min for shower). It actually overflowed to the changing room and the living room. I have to urgently pulled out the drainage filter (which was very dirty and greasy-clearly has not been cleaned for a long time) from the drainage to let the water drain. And extra time needed to be spent just to clean up the mess. Last but not least, personally (but all my other 8 family members have similar feeling) this bnb does not have a vibe as a home or holiday house, to be honest it feels more like an nursery/elderly home due to the layout of the bnb, the presence of wheelchair inside and the smell of the house (strong odor of disinfectants thru out the house). Anyway for those who has been to nursery home would properly get what i meant. No offense about Nursery home but we are here to relax and have holiday mood and this place clearly has a very different atmosphere." ~Lok
