Mountain retreat Shima Onsen Yoshimoto features an indoor and outdoor public hot spring bath, as well as a private-use one. It offers luxurious Japanese-style and Western rooms, some with a private open-air bath. Lake Okushima is a 5-minute drive. The Yoshimoto serves Japanese cuisine in the rooms, while drinks can also be enjoyed at the bar. Drinks vending machines are on-site. Shima Onsen Hot Springs and the Shimagawa Dam are each a 15-minute drive from the Yoshimoto Tokiwasure-no-Yado. JR Nakanojo Station is a 40-minute bus ride and a 10-minute walk, and the hotel offers a free pick-up from the bus stop. Japanese-style rooms have a tatami (woven-straw) floor, on which guests sleep in traditional futon bedding. Western rooms are fitted with a bed. All rooms are spacious and air-conditioned, and come with an LCD TV, a fridge and yukata robes.

Guests with tattoos may not be permitted to use the property’s public bathing areas or other facilities where the tattoos might be visible to other guests.

Children of any age are allowed. Children up to and including 2 years old stay for ¥2,200 per person per night when using an existing bed. Any type of extra bed or child's cot/crib is upon request and needs to be confirmed by management. Supplements are not calculated automatically in the total costs and will have to be paid for separately during your stay.
