"Pros: The location is everything!! Amazing view of Mt Fuji. Koyama was so welcoming and informative on our arrival. The fire outside goes out after 2 hours and you can’t refill it. So worth asking about that or keeping it in mind, as we wanted to spend the evening outside but it was cold. The electric blankets did help though. Also, it’s half board but you make the food. We really enjoyed that but worth keeping in mind if you’d rather not. The pillows in one of the bedrooms were very hard and there were no alternatives. Sauna and hot tubs (large baths) were fab. No tea or coffee (unless you’d like to roast the beans yourself), so bring your own. Quite remote. Your own car is advisable." ~Marianne

"Pros: Loved the fabulous couple who owned and ran Lodge Stack Point, so friendly and hospitable - it was a pleasure to spend time in their company. Unfortunately we only had one night here but would recommend to other travellers. It’s a remote location but if you have a car it’s convenient for visiting Fuji close by (Apparently there is a bus stop nearby)The local onset is excellent!" ~Grainne
