"Pros: Truly excellent location - super-near Anan Station and a whole bunch of food and grocery options. The property had ample sleeping options for a variety of groups of people, as well as a fairly large bathtub and very functional washer / hang-drying space.
Cons: The place was cold, essentially everywhere except the bedrooms. Yes, I know that's common in Japanese houses, but when you end up wearing your outerwear to grab breakfast, that's not great. It is also very close to a late-night karaoke place, which can't be helped, but still does lead to singing until late, which was tough for early-morning departures. Also, while there are *technically* two toilets, one is on the bottom floor (where the door is, but little else), and it's very cold and a squat toilet, something that wasn't as easy to use. Lastly, the room configurations don't leave a lot of privacy unless you're only two distinct groups - the top floor bedrooms are essentially attached, and the middle floor bedrooms have only a thin sliding door between them." ~J-m
