"Pros: There is space below the beds to put the luggage. The room itself was also very comfortable. I also liked that they have an onsen, but I didn't have time to try it.
Cons: The rooms are quite small and it can be difficult to find a good spot to open the suitcase to look for something for example. It wasn't a big problem in my case, though. I wanted to use the coin laundry, but the machine was all the time already used."

"Pros: Big house, very spacious. The house is an old, Japanese traditional building by the look from outside but the interior was fully renovated and very clean. Kids loved it. It was great enough to make them say “I want to live here!”
Cons: The location is good except it’s a bit confusing to get there. When you put the address in the Google map, it points to the building next door which leads you to the wrong street. Taxi drivers won’t be able to take you to this address directly unless you specifically tell them you need to go “in” the pathway to the shrine. (It’s on the right hand side on the pathway to the shrine)
Check-in and out system didn’t work smoothly. To check-in, you need to use a tablet device which is in a plastic box next to the entrance door, that doesn’t open easily.
The physical lock to the door was in old style that was also difficult to manage.
The house facilities are great. Everything was new and clean. However, there was no instructions for each item such as rice cooker, bath system, remote controllers etc., so it might be confusing to use these things if you don’t read Japanese."
