"Pros: A spacious and comfortable room, excellent service, pristine facilities and just a 10 minute walk away from the local train station. For value, it feels like a five-star hotel. A perfect place for a stay in a prime location for a hot spring, with a refined feel that punches above their weight even when surrounded by more luxurious and expensive hotels. Cons: The breakfast and dinner menus could be published in advance. I didn't have an issue as I researched traditional onsen food in advance, but it could be somewhat disconcerting for those unaware. Though it was all delicious food, I can picture some, especially foreigners, being spooked by the rush of dishes they've never seen before." ~Thiago
