Boasting natural hot spring baths both indoor and open-air, Iwaiyado Jyuan Nikko Kawaji onsen offers luxurious Japanese-style accommodation surrounded by Nikko’s beautiful mountains. All rooms feature sophisticated modern design and traditional Japanese ambience. Free WiFi is available in the public areas. The ryokan is a 7-minute walk or a 3-minute free shuttle ride from Kawaji-Yumoto Train Station. Nikko Toshogu Shrine, a World Heritage Site, is a 40-minute drive away. Nikko Edo Wonderland can be reached within a 20-minute train ride. All rooms at Jyuan Iwaiyado are fitted with tatami (woven-straw) flooring, a low desk and seating cushions where guests can unwind. Modern facilities like a large flat-screen TV and a DVD player are also provided in each room. The private bathroom has a hairdryer and original toiletries that contain organic herbal essence. While staying at the ryokan, guests can relax in the various hot spring baths, enjoy massages or purchase local items at the on-site gift shop. Ping pong tables and karaoke facilities are also available for guests’ entertainment. Jyuan Ryokan offers artfully prepared Japanese dishes. Traditional Japanese breakfast is also on offer.

Guests with tattoos may not be permitted to use the property’s public bathing areas or other facilities where the tattoos might be visible to other guests. To use the property's free shuttle from Kawaji-Yumoto Train Station, please make a reservation in advance. Meals are not included in the extra bed fee. Please be informed that this property is located a 70-minute train ride away from Nikko Station. The property does not provide shuttle-service to Nikko Station. If you have booked without a meal plan, but still wish to have breakfast at the property, please inform the property in advance. They may be able to reserve you a seat if the restaurant is not full.
