A perfect place for a stay in a prime location for a hot spring, with a refined feel that punches above their weight even when surrounded by more luxurious and expensive hotels. Cons: The breakfast and dinner menus could be published in advance. I didn't have an issue as I researched traditional onsen food in advance, but it could be somewhat disconcerting for those unaware.
