The cosy Chitosekan is 750 metres from Nozawa Onsen Ski Resort and features a hot-spring bath and Japanese meals. Rooms mix traditional decor and bedding with an LCD TV, and some rooms also have free Wi-Fi. Each air-conditioned room at Chitosekan Ryokan has sliding paper screens, wall hangings and old-style woodwork. There is an en suite toilet, and 1 hairdryer per floor. Guests bathe at the shared hot-spring bath and sleep on a tatami (woven-straw) floor in Japanese-style futon bedding. The Hikage ski run is a 5-minute walk away, and the ryokan is 7.5 km from JR Togari-Nozawa-Onsen Train Station. Located in the Nozawa Hot-Spring area, the property is near a number of public hot-spring baths. Ski equipment can be hired on site, and free Wi-Fi is provided at the lobby. A set-menu breakfast and dinner are served at Hiroma dining room for an extra fee, and must be reserved at least 1 day in advance.
