"Pros: Its a typical japanese house or ryoukan. A polite old landlady is looking after the property and welcomed you. Since I arrived during off peak season (outside ski and hiking season in May), the property is less crowded and more relax. It is generally clean as typical japanese house. The landlady will ask you when to use bathroom so she can prepare the bath in advance and heat up the water (since its off peak season the heater will only be turned on occasionally and on-demand).
Cons: The location is quite far from train station. The convenience store is almost non-existent (the closest yamazaki store only open at 5pm and close at 8pm)"
