Mikuni Ocean Resort&Hotel offers accommodations with ocean views and a flat-screen TV. Guests can enjoy the indoor and outdoor hot-spring baths and wear colourful Japanese Yukata robes for an extra cost. A free shuttle is available from JR Awara Onsen Train Station, which is a 20-minute drive away and must be requested at time of booking. The air-conditioned rooms feature a safety deposit box, a fridge and an electric kettle with green tea bags. Guests can choose to stay in Japanese-style rooms with tatami(woven-straw) floors or in Western rooms with carpeted floors. Free wired internet is available in some rooms. The en suite bathroom comes with a hairdryer. Guests can request massages or enjoy karaoke and table tennis during their stay. Laundry services are available for free and bicycle rentals are provided for an extra cost. Local gifts can be purchased at the souvenir shop and the vending machine provides snacks and drinks. Traditional multi-course meals are served for dinner and a buffet or set-menu is available for breakfast. All meals are served at the dining room. Hotel Kanko Mikuni is a 40-minute drive from Maruoka Castle and a 15-minute drive from Echizen Matsushima Aquarium. The Tojinbo cliffs are a 10-minute drive away.

Guests with a tattoo may not be permitted to enter public bathing areas and other public facilities. Public bath with tatami area is out of service due to renovation work between 22 Sep 2021 - 24 Dec 2021.
