"Pros: Masa and his wife were very kind and helpful hosts. Masa spoke English well, and was good at keeping in touch before the stay. They paid excellent attention to our food allergies and still managed to prepare delicious and substantial meals for us every day. Moreover, they always helped us clean the snow off our car in the morning, and helped us get discount lift tickets for the local ski resorts. Our room had plenty of space and underfloor heating, which was good because we'd been skiing and had gear that needed drying. The decor inside the pension was homely and cozy, and the area was really nice and quiet with a great view over to the mountains to the front and onto the forest at the back. Cons: There was no option to shower in the morning, just to have a bath in the evening." ~Thomas
