Located right in front of Shirahama Beach, Hotel Izukyu offers indoor/outdoor hot-spring baths and a seasonal outdoor swimming pool. A free shuttle is available from Izukyu Shimoda Train Station, which is a 10-minute drive away. Free WiFi is available throughout the property. The air-conditioned rooms come with a TV and Japanese Yukata robes for all guests. You can choose to stay in rooms with tatami (woven-straw) floors and Japanese futon bedding or in rooms with carpeted floors and Western beds. The en suite bathroom comes with a hairdryer. Both restaurants require reservations in advance. Izukyu Hotel is a 10-minute drive from Shimoda Aquarium and a 7-minute drive from the Shimoda Ropeway. Kawazu Bagatelle Park is a 20-minute drive away.
