Featuring 10 different hot-spring baths and a hot tub, Ishibashi Ryokan offers Japanese-style relaxation. A 10-minute walk from Izukyu Rendaiji Train Station, the traditional rooms include a private bathroom and fridge. The air-conditioned rooms at Kurhaus Ishibashi Ryokan have tatami (woven-straw) floors and Japanese futon beds. Shoji paper screens and washi paper lights create a peaceful atmosphere. Shimoda Aquarium, Sotoura Beach and Shirahama Jinja Shrine are all a 15-minute drive from the ryokan. Guests can browse the ryokan’s art gallery or have a quiet read in the library. Livelier options include karaoke and a fitness room with table tennis. A Japanese breakfast and multi-course (kaiseki) Japanese dinner are available upon request, served at the dining room. Reservations must be made at check-in.
