"Pros: I really loved both the exterior and interior of the hotel. Everything felt clean and fresh (as expected of a newly-renovated property). The rooms were quiet (properly sound-proofed) which I loved. Staff was helpful and polite. Food was okay, but I prefered to eat out on most days in search for more interesting options. As someone who likes the local revue I of course had a very personal interest in staying at this hotel, but I think even someone who isn't a fan would love a stay at this hotel, especially if you are someone like me who doesn't enjoy staying in big cities. Takarazuka is a comparatively quiet city but still within pretty easy reach to all major cities and sightseeing locations (Osaka, Kyoto, Kobe). Both Hankyu and JR stations are within a 5-10 min walk from the hotel. Cons: Rooms were maybe a tad on the small side, especially for someone staying for a longer time with lots of luggage. I also found it a bit hard to maintain a comfortable temperature in my room (the air would get a bit stuffy with the aircon on, but turning it off would make the temperature drop too low for my tastes).
