"Pros: Beautiful area with great mountain views
Cons: Hygiene is bad, bathroom walls are unclean and bathroom has dirty carpet. Extremely noisy. Paper thin walls would be fine but cleaning personel is loud and tried to open door even though there would be no cleaning on a specific day, unprofessional. We tried to reserve dinner/breakfast multiple days in advance, but staff did not respond to our queries, nor did they accomodate us. Meanwhile a tourbus full of tourists were having breakfast at the ryokan. There was no elevator and we received no help with luggage."
