"Pros: The property was just perfect. Set up by experienced travellers. I didn’t realise there was a noodle shop with coffee and tea at the Yunomine hot spring minutes away. And the dinner down the road was tasty too.. steamed veggies a rare thing in Japan! I stayed 2 nights and was comfortable and happy" ~Kate

"Pros: - The service is fantastic - Nazomi is a great and kind host. - The food was incredible - The old building is charming - The rooms were cosy (good heating), nice lighting, comfortable futons (although the pillows were a bit hard for me, but my partner was fine) - Onsens are clean, beautiful, water piping hot! - Perfect location in a unique little town Cons: It is true that the hallways are dated, as said in other reviews. However, I wouldn’t let this turn you off visiting. I knew what to expect, it didn’t impact the enjoyment of my stay. It’s a very old building and the areas that matter are well maintained. Although the hotel would benefit from the investment. Some noise can be heard from the other rooms. Most people are going to bed early so it’s not a problem!" ~Niamh
