"Pros: It's an amazing hotel sited on top of a hill overlooking on one side Lake Toya and on the, a bay being part of Sea of Japan and one has a 360° view of the entire valley lake and mountains including of Mt Yotei in the distance. Its also a beautiful n lavishly appointed hotel and one of its many claims to fame is being the site of a G8 Summit hotel in 2008. It has many lovely restaurants, a great onsen plus a nice golf course to boot. Locals regard this hotel as Hokkaido's most prestigious hotel, and one can fully understand once you stay there. The staff are so professional and courteous fm the doorman to everyone you come into contact as they all seem so conscious they have a very high reputation to maintain as The Top hotel in the region. A Must Return to hotel.
Cons: Nothing negative." ~Jimmy
"Pros: The host of this inn was very polite and generous. The bedroom and futon were also very easy to sleep, and I had a good morning. It was great to see the wonderful starry sky at night. Up to 10 people can stay, so I think it's a good deal if you are in a group.
Cons: I guess it's a little difficult to understand because there are a lot of air conditioners and electric switches." ~Takemura
