"Pros: We really enjoyed our stay in this charming converted storage house, and it turned out to be the perfect retreat for two. The cozy space featured a well-equipped kitchen, making it easy to prepare meals. With the heat pump and additional heaters, it was super warm and inviting, despite the cold winter outside.
Parking right in front was a real luxury in Japan, and a big plus for us. While the 8-minute walk to the center could be a bit challenging in the winter wearing the geta with sock, it was a lovely way to cool down after a relaxing soak in the onsen. The hosts provided everything we needed for the onsen experience, and their hospitality truly enhanced our stay.
Kinosaki is particularly charming at night, and although it might not be my favorite spot in Japan, spending a night to explore the town is definitely worthwhile. The onsens may not be the best in the country either, but they offer a wonderful experience, especially when walking around in a yukata!!!
Overall, this hidden gem is perfect for anyone looking to unwind and enjoy a unique experience in a beautiful setting. I highly recommend it!
